Artist Statement: My narrative is based on the idea of trust and how easily it can be lost.  The main focus of the pictures is building blocks. In many ways trust is like a tower of blocks. It takes time and focus to build up, but with a simple brush of the hand it can all come tumbling down. I got this idea from situations I have been in where I have invested my trust into a person and they simply deceived it. And even if you want to be able to trust that person it is still a very difficult thing to do. In the same way that after you knock down a tower of blocks, in order to get it back to that place you must re build it.
