Overdue: A Narrative Character Portrait by Laurel O'Such (2014)

Denny Taylor is a young man who grew up too fast. He got married to his high school sweetheart, Hailey Gould. At a time in his life, he was in love with her, but has grown to see they do not belong together. Denny is constantly being told what he has to do, when he has to do it, and how it has to be done perfectly; all by Hailey. At this moment, Denny is considering leaving Hailey, he realizes there is much more to his life than living in Hailey's shadow. He appears tired because of the decision he is making, but relieved in a way because he can finally be the man he wants to be.
