Portal More: A Senior Explorations Amplified Piece by Mia Montanez (2014)

The amplified project was my favorite project thus far. I layered two of my drawings from the Blink unit, the dura lar Thought piece over my ''Edge'' painting. I drew inspiration from a quick write ''Thought'' which I wrote about my friend Brittney and Sat. My piece is titled Portal More because that is the name of my friends living complex which is crawling with artistic inspiration.

To create this piece I scanned in my two art pieces layered on top of one another which I then I edited in Photoshop. I found my font on Dafont.com and used it to amplify the words I wrote on my original thought piece. I enjoyed making this piece and being able to experiment with techniques outside of the standard photoshop filters and fonts.
