For the Phenakistiscope project, we where instructed to create 16 frames on a circular plate that would be spun to create a short animation. For my phenakistiscope, I created multiple small sections that would each have there own animation. This included a sparking wire, a lava lamp, a spinning record, a light pattern, and a neon mountain range with a shining moon. I was inspired heavily by the vaporwave era of the 80's and 90's. If I could do it again, I would give a more central point that connected with the other parts.
