The inspiration for my phenakistoscope was the shooting star scene from Howl's Moving Castle. I struggled with making the piece as a whole look like a consecutive piece of animation because it was hard for me to keep track of where certain frames should go. I overcame this by looking over my animation as a whole multiple times and changing aspects based on what I saw. If I could do this project again I would make the animation look cleaner/ smoother; maybe I would do it digitally first before transferring it onto the paper so I know it'll look how I want it to. What I'm most proud of is the idea I had I just wish the finished product turned out the way I wanted it to. This project will help me with spacing of objects in my future animations.
