Things I Have Learned In My Life So Far

In english we were asked to brainstorm a list of ten things that we had learned in our life so far. We enhanced this assignment in WebAudio with this podcast. This podcast allows the viewer to see what I think of these ten things I have learned in my life. This podcast is a reflection of who I am because it is a list of things I have learned and it is sort of a list that I live by.

1. Many mistakes can lead to successes.
2. You must be responsible with your freedom.
3. You should never stop learning.
4. Find a different way to look at things.
5. Always keep your mind open.
6. Worrying will never help you.
7. Don't overwhelm yourself with too many things.
8. Be proud of your work.
9. If you want something, get it.
10. Concentrate on the project at hand.

We produced this podcast in Adobe Flash. First, we recorded our voice saying the things we had learned so far and imported them into flash. Second, we imported all the images to our flash library to be able to use them in flash. Next, we made different scenes for each image. We placed the images in the scenes and made sure they were in the viewfinder (the area that will be seen in the final production). After this we added music in the background. We placed the music in the first scene and set it to stream so that it would continue in the other scenes. Finally, we added a keyframe on the last scene so that the music would stop at the end.

For this assignment we were asked to present a symbolic repesentation of our personal statement. The "ten things we learned so far" assignment helped us to create our personal statement by combining some ideas. This statement in the image is personal to me because I drew the image and I am proud of it.
