Animatic

Before I started my Flash animation itself, I took my graphic novel and cut it in Photoshop so that each panel was its own image. I then made each panel its own scene in Flash, and added effects and sounds to them. Essentially, I made an animated storyboard, also known as an animatic.

The process taught me a lot about timing, panning, and zoom effects in flash. I managed to get a better sense of how to pace things in general.
