Diptych

Moon

A diptych is a a series of two images. These images contain some kind of relation, such as color and shape. The seem to have some relations, but at the same time have so relation at all.

In design we were assigned to take two phrases from our personal poem. I choose "The spectacle for the whole to see", and "I can breath again/ The beach becomes a swamp/ Its like a key/ I come too". I wanted to show somthing that everyone sees, so I choose the sky. The moon also happenend to be there, so it added an extra effect of distance. In the second image I wanted to show some kind of change, so I used a cat going from outside to inside. The body language really spoke, showing the cat longing to go inside.
