Different from the photo narrative, the illustration is a single image that tells a story on its own. It's meant to incorporate symbolism and ecompass a period of time. Part of the overall project was to incorporate typography into it as well as different textures and styles.

Crums

In my opinion, one of the hardest, most disorienting things we go through is having to say goodbye to people we've come to love. Being so used to having them in most aspects of our life and having to adjust to the opposite is a hard pill to swallow. I aimed to make my illustration not solely attatched to this scenario but to any breakage in our lives in general. I hope people can bring their own face to the figure who is leaving and their own story.
