Me personally, this was my favorite part of this whole Documentary Unit. I had so much fun planning my book layout and working with diffrent colors and text formats to make our own unique books.
For our English class we had to write a research paper on the subject we chose for our Documentary Unit. In my case I chose the origins of Rap and why people do amateur rapping. Our research paper was like our "rough draft" of what our book we were to create in Adobe InDesign was going to be.
On the side, while we worked on our research paper and interviews for English, we were planning and taking A LOT of pictures for our Design class. We picked the pictures we wanted to put on our book and edited them with Photoshop. Later on we were introduced to Adobe InDesign and learned how to work with it. We used that program to design our Documentary books.
