This book project was all about creating a book to tell the story of a place of our choice. For my book, I wrote about Sweet Sue's Treats, a Bay Area home-based bakery run by Susan Klepper.

My favorite aspects of my book, "Homemade Happiness," are the images of Mrs. Klepper's bakery stand outside of her house. She created a very welcoming and colorful environment which photographs extremely well.

The colors of her bakery were inspiration for my book. I tried to get as close as possible to the correct colors and work from there. The design layout was purely simplistic so the images would get more attention.

Overall, the process of creating the book, was incredibly fun. There were some late nights where I sacrificed sleep for a higher quality book, but the final outcome made all the effort worth it.
