No Way Out
In my illustration I used a girl trapped in an hourglass to show the suffocation that schoolwork provides. The dark purple hourglass is sitting on a set of railroad tracks with a long shadow. The sand is falling on the girl to show the life time passing.
The hourglass is a dark purple to represent the sadness and lack of air and life as the object sits without any hope of being saved. The railroad tracks show the danger as well as the crossroads of life. The sand that falls on the girl is made of words that show both the causes and effects of her being trapped.
