Welcome to my website!!

Hello world my name is Rocio Robles I'm just an ordinary girl who wants to inspre others, because I look at our society with deeper meaning meaning. When I draw I try to find an image that I can recreate or inspires me to draw something meaningful. I also tend to think very deeply when it comes to life, or friends, or basicly anything once I set my mind to it. I am girl who wants to inspire the world.

Creating my website gave me insight on who I really am by what I decided to place on my website. Before creating my final product of my website, I had to create a rough sketch of what I want for my website. In my rough sketch I wanted my image to represent a part of me on full screen, something inspiring, and that something was the background image you are now looking at. The image portrays the meaning of flight how this girl despreatly wants her hat back. This image represents flight how I try to push myself to move higher then where I originally am. When I created my website I wanted to create my music with a sense of wonder. I wanted my background music to fit with the syle of my website background.

As for the rest of my website I created some context about my famliy, friends, and the projects I was asgnied today from my other freestyle classes. For this project I had to use a lot of aplications in order to create all the images, buttons, music, etc, for my website. The applications I used for my website are Adobe Dreamweaver CC to create the bone structure of the website, .btn(buttons) , .html links to my webpages, a template for the whole structure of the website, and how to read codes on a website to function how the website needs to behave. But I didn't just stop with that application I also used Adobe Photoshop CC for my background images and other photos that I took for my Diptych, and website.

I used Adobe Illustrator CC to create my illustration for the exhibition on Ocober 30, 2013, and for my website as well. I used GarageBand for my background music and podcast videos on my website. Finally the last application I used for my media piece video is Quicktime Player, where I can record myself with a screenshot of my image.

When I decided to join freestyle I wasn't sure I was fit to to be here because I thought I had no artistic values I could use; besides drawing; to create my self portrait. After creating my website, and learning how to work with all the applications I feel as though I am not the same girl I knew before. During my self portrait unitI found the other side of me that I thought I never had. I thought I would never understand how to create a website or understandf how to use the applications here, but I did. My experince here in freestyle has given me the chance to express myself in multiple ways that I could never do. I.m very happy to be here in freestyle and I can't wait for the next unit.

Dove

In my freestyle English class I was assgined to create a poem based on the assgimement "Ten things I learned so far". I had to choose one of the things I learned from the first assgiment in order to create my personal poem. I used "my voice is my savior'' for my poem and called it dove. As for my Webaudio class I had to create the image below you, for my website because I needed to show the people who are going to look at my website my poem with a background. After creating the image, Mr.Florendo, my Webaudio teacher, taught my class how to create a podcast on grageband. I had yo record my poem and create some background music to give the recording some taste.
