Welcome to my experimental homepage. In this unit, we we're asked to write 3 songs or poems and record them with music, that we had to make using a combination of our own music on a keyboard or an intrument we play and some garageband loops. In design, we were to pick a project we wanted to do to express what ever we wanted in an origonal and experimental way. All the songs, the website and the work we did in design were to have a central them. My them is the internal struggle.

Internal Struggle
I wanted to make a visual representation of what goes through a typical teenagers head as they struggle to decide between what everybody else is doing and is pressuring the individual to do, and doing what they think they should do. I really wanted to make this piece for my experimental, because I believe that is a huge part of growing up, and the transition of leaving high school. In my picture, and angel who is treasuring a fractured heart, is caught up in a wild party, and a devil offers the angel a smoking apple of temptation. The party represents the “everyone else is doing it,” the devil represents the peer-pressurer. The angel represent the victim in this situation, the apple represents temptation, and the fractured heart represents the angel wanting to do the right thing in the situation. I want people to look at my picture and not take it too literally. The picture represents conflict, peer-pressure, and temptation as a whole. It is intended to be a modernistic version of eve picking the apple.
