The beauty of art comes from our surroundings in life. I hope that I can one day be an artist that will capture this beauty and make it my own piece of work. However I fear that the world will wage war upon itself, leaving nothing left to admire but total destruction. Through my piece I show my hand illustrating the only art left from my fearful future. My hand represents my hope of becoming an artist. The illustration shows me staring out at an explosion and an oil well sprouting. The oil represents the reason for the war. I overlaid the illustration with a canvas image to give it a more illustrated effect. The viewer should visualize the world without beauty through the image I have created or imagine there own idea of a war torn earth.
