Believing lies is not an option,
Because we are all suffocating.
Although meant to protect us,
Our government is busy fabricating.

These lies scare us from dreaming,
So we can never reach our full potential.
Trying the facts, and testing the “truth”,
Is the only way we will outthink the federal.

If I recall correctly, manufacturing fear,
Is not part of the job description?
That our founding fathers set forth,
For our glorious free nation.

We have strength in knowledge,
Yet we fail to educate,
So we live controlled by fear,
All likely to suffocate.

Told to calm down,
I try to be patient,
But my heart,
Tells me to confront.
