Dad

My father grew up as a proper Englishmen in the Bronx. He was constantly picked on by his peers, so he moved out to California for college. He attended many classes at Foothill until he felt prepared for the real world. He became an astronaut, and tried studying the moon for life forms.

Mom

My mother is originally from Texas. All her life, she dreamed of moving to Hawaii and living with her cousins. When she was eighteen, her dream came true. Her parents had bought her a one way plane ticket. Hoever the ticket had a layover in California for one night. She slept in a Best Western hotel in L.A. with a view of the ocean. That night, she decided that California was good enough and decided to stay. She tried to call her cousins the next day, but accidentally dialed the wrong number, and my father answered the phone. The awkward phone call left him in a state of bewilderment and he asked her out on a date. They were married two weeks later, in a small chapel in Reno.
