Media Overload

photonarrative    This photonarrative was meant to convey the story of a man blinded to the real world by the effects if the media, to the point where he has lost any sense of himself and he can only absorb and repeat the knowledge that the media gives him.
This is illustrated through a diptych of two photos. The first photo shows the man, figuratively and literally overwhelmed by the sources of media that surround him. Additionally this photo also shows the very bland and unindividualistic life that the subject of the photo leads. The second photo shows the same man interacting with another person on the street. The subject of the first photo is using the newspaper in his hand to define his side of the conversation, providing little of his own imput, to the bewilderment of his non-obsessed counterpart on the right.
