An animatic is simply a rough cut of all the angles, shots, transitions, and storyline of what the finished product (the animation) will look like. Before we even started our animation, there was a lot of work to be done. First, we drew a storyboard on paper of what we imagined and then scanned it into Flash. In GarageBand we recorded the audio, using the voices of my peers. Then, we chopped up the storyboard and gave each panel a scene number. This process helped introduce us to Flash such as with fading, panning, and importing audio. Although it took time, it was worth it because when I started my animation, I already knew what I wanted to do.

Below is my animatic. My final animation can be found by clicking on the "Animation" button. You will need Flash Player 9 in order to view it. (www.adobe.com). Right click to control video.
