Things I've Learned So Far Podcast

In English, we were given the task to think of the ten most important lessons that we had learned in life. After we came up with that list, in Web Audio we used Garageband to create a podcast with pictures and the audio of us reading the things we've learned synched together.

  3. Be honest with yourself.
  4. Don't let others make choices for you.
  5. What you do now will effect your future.
  6. Self motivation is the key to success.
  7. Don't stress about what's already done.
  8. Focus on the present.
  9. Hard work solves most problems.
  10. Procrastination gets you nowhere.

Overall, the process of creating a podcast went very well. First we recorded ourselves reading the Things I've Learned. After that we found pictures corresponding with our life lessons and added them to the podcast using the program Garageband. With the pictures added and synched to the statementes, we converted the file into the .m4a format, so it could be played in web browsers.

In English, we were asked to choose one of our statements and then take a picture that showcased the lesson. In class the next day, we presented our statements and the image that went with it.

 

"Don't Stress About What you Can't Control"

During my presentation, I talked about why you shouldn't stress about what you can't control. The picture I took shows a girl who has just turned in a test and is sad and stressed because she thinks she failed. The message of my presentation was to tell the audiance not to worry about what has already happened, and just make the most of what it to come.
