The next step for me was to create my final card design. I initially tried to create the art for the cards in Photoshop, but my artistic abilities leave a lot to be desired. Instead I chose to draw the cards by hand. I reworked the sketches I did earlier and added color to make them pop. It’s not ideal, but the final result would have looked much worse and taken much longer, had I tired to design each card in photoshop. I am planning getting an artist that takes commissions to do the art professionally. So I can send in the designs to a custom playing cards printing company.
