Animatic

In WebAudio I scanned the pages of my graphic novel that I wrote in English and used those as the basis for my animatic. I added audio that I recorded using ProTools, and then I animated the animatic using Adobe Flash CS6. An animatic is a rough draft of an animation and its purpose is to help you understand what you will need to do for your actual animation.

Creating the animatic helped me get comfortable with Adobe Flash. Without the animatic I would have gone into creating my animation without any experience in Flash, and no clear ideas on how to animate my story. While I worked on my animatic, I was not only able to learn the basics of Adobe Flash, but I was also able to figure out exactly what I would need to animate in my real animation.

I would like to thank my teachers at Freestyle for helping me with my narrative projects. I would also like to thank Rachel for letting me use her as my voice talent.
