This page is for my Illustration that I created in design class. We were assigned to make an image that incorporated words into our drawing and narrated a story.
Connections Through Music
For my illustration I decided to tell the story that I wrote in my English class at the beginning of the year. The illustration abstractly shows the connections that two people who are very different can make through music. It conveys how the ideas that they contribute can come together and grow into an amazing piece of music as well as a better friendship and understanding of each other.
I really enjoyed making the picture, and how creative it let me be. I did not like drawing when I first came to freestyle because I thought I was bad at it. My design teacher Ms. Parkinson has really opened my eyes to how easy and fun it is to express your ideas through drawing. Enjoy!
