Our photo narrative project was supposed to be a dyptic with the first picture photograph representing the character's internal conflict, or fault, and the second, that fault or conflict taking place in real life at the moment of no return, where the character's action will make the whole difference. My photo-narrative also includes another picture inbetween these two to represent the people outside of my character that surround her to show her faults.

Boiling Point

My photo-narrative is about a girl who has trouble letting out her emotions, or talking about how she feels. She comes across like a blank page, a person who does not feel. She keeps everything bottled up inside, and doesn't let anyone in. This trait is one that not only is hurtful and hard for the people around her, but really cripples herself as well. By not letting anyone into her life, or talking about things that are on her mind, she gains nothing and only loess herself.

The first picture depicts a younger girl's eyes staring away slightly teary, but full of makeup and glistening just like how she hides the rest of herself. The second has an old pot boiling, showing that the people around her can get fed up with trying to help her as they near their personal boiling point. The last picture depicts her boyfriend in future years, leaving her. The only way she will ever stop herself from losing others and is if she stops bottling her up her emotions inside.
