For my animation, the inspiration came from my graphic novel. The inspiration for that came from an idea of hopelessness based off fear, something I have experienced. When another person who you once thought close to you makes you feel worthless, it's hard to say whether or not to pull away from the situation, or stay. That's what the main character Sequoia faces.
The process of making my animation came straight from my animatic. Basically, I would take scenes from the animatic, tweak them, and add motion bring it to life... more or less. I think the major thing I learned through this process was how tedious it can be to use flash, and make an animation. I did however learn to use the bone tool for arm movements, and other flash basics.
