The Struggle

This piece is about my struggle and inability to play music. My love for music is great, yet I am still unable to complete the circle and learn to create music of my own. Whenever I pick up a guitar, my clumsy fingers become disconnected from my mind and stumble around the frets while my other hand aimlessly plucks strings achieving no more than noise. For me, listening to music is a way for me to approach problems, and it always seems to guide the way and show me the light, this is why the guitar is glowing with power. This glow also represents the potential that music holds if i could only grasp it. This is why I appear to be looking past it, because I am lost and I cannot seem to find it. Without any music at all, I would be truly lost and my life would become monotonous, dull, and emotionless. I hope that, from this experience, take away a feeling of how music can help solve your problems and that if you learn to create it, it can only lead to better things.
