The dyptic was our way of expresing one of the 10 things that we had learned and a great way for us to show off our camera skills.
My first picture shows how easy it is to find something beautiful that is constantly
overlooked. It’s a house that I pass by everyday when I walk home. When I got the camera in
my hands though I started noticing things that I never paid attention to before. It was kind of like
looking through a pair of new eyes. his picture was actually a mistake I got a nice looking picture
even though I took it fast and didn’t really mess with the settings I was surprised by it’s simple
beauty. It relates to me in a way because I’m not that complicated of a person myself what you
see in me is pretty much what you get.
My second photo is another representation of how something you see all the time can
be beautiful. But this picture is something people would think was kind of ugly or uninteresting.
Unlike my last photo this one was a covert or if you don’t know what that is it’s those big storm
drains that look kind of like a concrete river. Basically it’s something that’s not very pretty so I
had to take this picture in a way that made it look better than it actually was. So the contrast
from this photo and the first one is that the first one eas naturally pretty and the other needed to
be taken in a way that brought out its beauty.
