My Zenith project was modeled after a company I actually intend to build- Startup Sweets. I tasked myself with creating a recipe, the packaging, and a logo for an entirely healthy, and simultaneously delicious product. The result, “Kerfuffles” is gluten free, soy free, raw, paleo and non-GMO. It’s comprised of 5 ingredients, none of which includes any kind of sweetener, or oil! The reason why I placed these seemingly impossible restraints on myself is because that’s how I eat in real life. In fact, developing the recipe wasn’t impossible at all. Minimalism is the newest state of mind, especially in food, and I wanted to create something true to my taste, while being appealing to others. Over the course of 4 months, I collaborated with my mom to develop a company from the ground up. We branded Kerfuffles as a truffle, which can be consumed as a snack, post work-out, mid day, or any and all times, as I prefer! I ended up attaching the slogan, “chaos in a truffle”, to explain the product’s identity.
