Towers

In this piece I wanted to show the relationship between the problems of childhood, and how they express themselves later in life. At the left you see the little boy, curled in the corner, with his tower of blocks knocked down. This shows this little boy's work being destroyed, and the impact of this on his on his being. Then in the picture on the right you see how this is expressed later in his life. He is the hands offering the bowl of soup to the huddled homeless person. I am showing the relationship here in that as a kid his towers were knocked down, but now as an adult he wants to build towers, just in a more metaphorical sense, in helping those less fortunate, build them up.
