Photonarrative

My photonarrative was also inspired by my short story, like my animation. You can read the short story by clicking on the link in the navigation above. The point of our photonarrative was to be able to tell a story with a minimal amount of photos. You can see the way the story progresses through each photo.

Thrown Away

My photonarrative is about a girl who spends a long time and a lot of effort writing a letter by cutting out the separate letters. She places the letter in a boy's mailbox, and later that day he retrieves it. When he gets it, he throws away all the letters without giving them another thought. My photonarrative is about the sorry state human communication is in. Even in close relationships, people often find themselves not spending enough time talking things through, out in the open, and in the end misunderstandings and the like occur. I tried to show the soft fade of love by gradually desaturating the photos, with the first one the most saturated and the last one almost completely black and white.
