Smelling a flower

Born in South Carolina in 1988, at eight and a half pounds, I was brought into this world. My father a Avionics Technician and my mother a Domestic Engineer(just a fancy word for those women who like to fool themselves out of believing that they are house wives).
I lived blissfully in South Carolina and California until I was two and a half years old, at which point my mother, a native German, and my father decided to move to Germany.
I spent my childhood years and some of my adolescence attending German schools, speaking, writing and reading German. I lived in a small town where everyone knew everyone(not a minute of peace, everyone is always getting in your business. But hey, old house wives, err, excuse me, Old Domestic Engineers like to gossip).
I was happy and content, living a steady life with two loving/supporting parents. Until the day my parents decided to move to America, my father was restationed in sunny California.
We moved from one town to another, in which I attended Middle School, established myself as an American and improved my English. I made friends and became immersed into the American culture.
After I graduated from eighth grade we moved once more, and I came to live in a town in the bay area.
By now my German accent had faded, I was enrolling in honors and AP English classes.
I made more friends, keeping in touch with my old ones. My father eventually moved to a small mountain town, leaving my mother and I to live our lives in the Bay Area. Several months later my mother and I are still living here, my parents are getting seperated and I am moving in with my boyfriend
