My Family

I have your stereotypical family, my dad (Mark), my mom (Lou Ann), my older brother (Matt) and our dog (Amber). I am proud to say that we are the happiest dysfunctional family on the face of the planet. Although we all have our differences, we all have a bond that could never be broken or replaced, and as much as I hate to admit it sometimes, I love them all.

This is my brother Matt. He's the most rebellious in the whole family in a lot of ways. He was born April 16th, 1988 in California. He is at UC San Diego right now, majoring in engineering and he graduated from Mountain View High School in 2005. He has always been the most argumentative in the family, no matter what were talking about. He always knows what he wants and doesn't change his mind on a lot of things. You could call him stubborn. We had always hated each other as kids, but now that he's gone off to college I really have started to look at him more as a brother rather than an adversary. Out of all the members of my family, I look up to him the most and always strive to be more like him, because although he is argumentative, everybody loves him.

my dadMy Dad

My dad is by far the strangest person in our family. He was born July 24th, 1953 in Philadelphia, PA. He's a triplet, one of which is fraternal twin, the other identical. Throughout his childhood, he would use this to his advantage, as having a twin proves very beneficial in pulling pranks and staying out of trouble. Even through my own childhood, I called my uncle my dad on multiple occasions. He is obsessed with history, particularly the Civil War and World War II. He is an employee at a well off semi-conductor company here in the bay area, called Fairchild Semiconductors. And even though he is on the older side, he still runs 3 miles every Saturday and Sunday (more than I can say about myself). He is the hardest working member of our family and a great influence in my life. Everyone that knows him says they see a lot of him in me, which I see as a good thing.

my momMy Mom

My mom is the only truly sane person in our family. She is the voice of reason that keeps our entire household functioning. She was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on September 26, 1957. She used to work at various software companies in the area, but after my brother and I were born, she became a stay at home mom. She's the only person that locks our front door and closes the windows before we leave. If it wasn't for her, we would have been robbed many times by now and my brother and I would have been raised on KFC and McDonalds. She is always the nicest in the family and I feel like I can tell her practically anything
