Mom

My Mom

This is my mom. Her name is Roxanne, and she's not a fan of people who call her "Roxy" (unless you're a very special person). More importantly, she conditions horses for endurance races. She has competed in three 25 mile races, and hopes to one day do the Tevis. This probably doesn't make much sense to those who don't know about endurance riding, so my suggestion is to Google it. She's also very good at baking delicious desserts, and she takes great pride in her ever blooming garden.

My Step Mom, Step Sister, and Dad

Family #2

These people are Clari, Sarah and Pop (Ken). Clari is my step mom. She does mortgage stuff. Sarah is my step sister. She's a senior at Tufts University. The biggest giveaway that we are not blood relatives is probably shown in the fact that she is athletically inclined, and I am not. Pop is my dad. None of my siblings nor I call him Dad. He's a lawyer, and he likes biking. A quick story about my father: Last week, he truly disappointed me for the first time. Upon arriving home and telling him that the Sharks game was on, he told me that "the Sharks aren't about to make it to the World Series." The worst part? He's a total bandwagon Giants fan.

Mom

My brother, me, and my sister

Family #3

These are my lovely siblings. We get along extremely well. Nathaniel is a freshman at Humboldt State. Livy graduated from UC Davis in 2009. Aside from those moderately boring statistics, I feel it is important to highlight just how cool my siblings are with a couple examples. For my birthday this past year, they went through a wrapping process that took serious thinking and patience. I took about five minutes unwrapping decoys until I finally found what was quite possibly the best present I have ever gotten: A Team Canada hockey puck signed by Patrick Marleau, Dany Heatley, and Dan Boyle. This story is probably one of those "You had to be there" ones, but I really don't care. It was awesome. Although he is not pictured, an honorable mention goes out to Chris, Livy's boyfriend. I've known him for about five years now, so he's a pretty big part of my family's life. In our spare time, the four of us enjoy making gourmet meals, such as home made ravioli, soup, and lemon bars. It might not turn out to be that tasty, but it's the experience that counts.

Reina and Sombra

Family #4

These are my dogs, Reina (on bed) and Sombra. This picture falsely illustrates how large they are, because normally, they're quite fluffy. Reina, the smaller but older one, is about 125 lbs, while Sombra weighs in at about 145. I've had big dogs my entire life, so as far as I'm concerened, they're the only way to go.

The animals who are unpictured are at my dad's house. Bob (female cat), Scout (dog), Jazz (annoying small dog) and OJ (snake).
